From preview to allotment
Popular DLF launches can sell out quickly. Knowing the steps helps you move fast without missing anything.
1. Preview
The project is announced to registered buyers and channel partners. Details on location, configurations and indicative pricing are shared.
2. Expression of interest (EOI)
Buyers submit an EOI with a token amount to join the allotment queue. Terms, including refunds, vary by launch — always read them first.
3. Launch & allotment
Final prices and inventory are released, and units are allotted to EOI holders, often by priority or draw. You then choose from the available units.
4. Booking & agreement
You pay the booking amount, receive the allotment letter, and sign the builder-buyer agreement as per RERA.
Keep these documents ready
- PAN card of all applicants
- Aadhaar card or passport as address proof
- Passport-size photographs
- Cheque or bank details for the EOI/booking amount
- For NRIs: passport, visa/OCI and NRE/NRO account details

What is an EOI in a DLF launch?
An expression of interest (EOI) is a token payment that shows you intend to buy in an upcoming launch. It places you in the allotment process before general sale. The amount and refund terms vary by launch.
Is the EOI amount refundable?
In many launches the EOI is refundable if you do not get an allotment or choose not to proceed, but terms differ. Always read the EOI terms for that specific launch before paying.
Does an EOI guarantee a unit?
No. An EOI improves your position in the allotment, but it does not guarantee a specific unit, especially in high-demand launches.
